As a media contractor Eastman serves in a variety of capacities – from producer/promoter to manager/communications consultant – for clients spanning film, broadcast, print and business. JQE is a longtime on-camera and voice over talent, is currently a staff announcer for WBZ News Radio 1030, and is heard and appears in a variety of venues nationwide. Her work in the industry also includes film and television project development, script readings/representation, and producing content for TV broadcast, as well as for corporate use and for fundraising purposes. JQE served as head of Mass Media Alliance and produced meetings, events, and the monthly MMA Communiqué, which launched Imagine Newsmagazine.

Among Eastman’s production credits are numerous television and radio reports/programs, reality TV and documentaries, including a weekly real estate show for WSBK-TV 38, Blog Talk Radio show, PSAs (Public Service Announcements), fundraising webisodes, corporate videos, “The Difference”, which earned an Emmy nomination and aired on Boston’s ABC affiliate, WCVB-TV, and the award winning town forum documentary, “The Dee Brown Incident.” JQE also produced and hosted a weekly segment for WSBK-38, and related programming features for a New England network of radio stations she built.  As a co-producer at the CBS and NBC affiliates, JQE co-hosted with Bill O’Reilly at channel 7, Tom Bergeron at channel 4 and Sunny Joe White and Matt Siegel at KISS 108.

In addition to participating and/or presenting at seminars and forums at several area colleges, Eastman has taught media & communications as an adjunct professor at Newbury College and other area training institutes.

Professional affiliations have included Massachusetts Production Coalition, Women In Film & Video and National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, organizing panels and judging Emmy nominations. As a longstanding member of AFTRA/SAG, Eastman has served on the nominating and marketing committees as well as contributed to and participated in many forums and events.
